PERSONAL 

Andy Aitken was born in the District of Columbia and grew up in the Maryland suburbs in Bethesda.  He currently lives in Silver Spring with his wife Melissa and his four sons.

Andy graduated from Loyola College in 1983 and Catholic University law School in 1987.  He is admitted to the bars of Maryland, the District of Columbia and is registered to practice with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Andy coaches youth soccer and basketball and serves on the Board of the local CYO a youth athletic organization.

He is a section member of the the Maryland Bar Intellectual Property Committee, the AIPLA, the ABA and the Patent Lawyers Club.

When not practing law or attending his sons' games, you may find him running or on the golf course.
